Shrewsbury Man Arrested for Doing Yardwork Naked

Several cars slowed down so people could take photos as police arrested an allegedly drunk, belligerent man who had been blowing leaves from his driveway in the nude.

Shrewsbury police responded on Monday, Aug. 4, around 3:45 p.m. to a home after getting reports that a man was doing yard work in the buff.

When Officer Timothy Charland arrived, he found Richard Capra, 69, 437 Lake St., Shrewsbury, blowing off his driveway with a leaf blower. Charland, completely naked, was intoxicated and belligerent toward police, said the report.

Capra was charged with open and gross lewdness and was arraigned in Westborough District Court on Tuesday.
