Shrewsbury Patriots Make Playoffs
This week's athletes of the week are facing Charlton-Dudley this weekend.
Two teams from the Shrewsbury American Youth Football and Cheer Organization have made it to the playoffs this weekend with the hope of going to the Superbowl if they win.
On Wednesday night, one of the fourth grade teams and one of the fifth grade football teams each beat the Nipmuc Warriors from Mendon, which advanced the two teams into the next round of the playoffs where both teams will face Charlton-Dudley on Sunday.
Two other teams, one from the fourth grade and one from the fifth grade made it to the first round of the playoffs, but lost their game Wednesday night, ending their season.

Kids from age 5 and up are eligible to be a part of the youth football organization.
