Shrewsbury Schools Seek Community Input
Shrewsbury Public Schools is looking for school parents and business leaders who will help define Shrewsbury's 'Portrait of a Graduate.'

From Shrewsbury Public Schools: Shrewsbury Public Schools is looking for school parents and business leaders to participate in a workgroup that will help us define Shrewsbury’s “Portrait of a Graduate.” Simply stated, a portrait of a graduate defines what we believe is most critical for our students to know and be able to do by the time they graduate from Shrewsbury High School.
To get a better sense of the goal, please click here to see what Fairfax County, VA Public Schools developed for their Portrait of a Graduate. Having this profile well-articulated will help to inform the district’s next set of strategic priorities and instructional decision making across our schools. Please consider lending your voice and perspective to this important project.
The workgroup will be led by Mary Beth Banios, Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction. It will also include teachers, administrators, past and current SHS students and representatives of higher learning. If you are interested in being part of this important effort, please click here to complete a short application.
