Shrewsbury Superintendent Thanks Nurses On National School Nurse Day

Our school nurses do a remarkable job serving our students and staff with skill and compassion.

SHREWSBURY, MA—In honor of National School Nurse Day, May 10, Superintendent Joe Sawyer sent out the following message to the school community:

Dear Shrewsbury Families, Staff, and Community Members,
Today is National School Nurse Day. Our school nurses do a remarkable job serving our students and staff with skill and compassion, and our schools would not be as healthy, safe, or effective without the important work they do. As student health needs in public schools have become more complicated, our school nurses work hard to ensure that all of our students have access to education, despite medical conditions or other challenges. Please join me in thanking them for all that they do for our school communities!
Respectfully,
Joe Sawyer
Superintendent of Schools
