U10 Shockers Win Local Tournament

Team: U10 Fastpitch Softball Team

Accomplishment: Winning the Charlton Invitation U10 Fastpitch Softball Tournament

Key to Awesomeness: The team played against Leicester on Saturday morning and won. Then they played a Wachusett team on Saturday afternoon and lost. They then beat Spencer, Worcester, Wachusett again and then Charlton and won all four games. Even with the one loss, they came in first and won the tournament. What makes them awesome? They've been practicing since January and really worked hard this weekend to win.

The team includes: Olivia DiGirolamo, Riley MacCausland, Ryan Shea, Karli Desouza, Mackenzie Terry, Megan Calderwood, Kimberly Chhoeuk, Samantha Hallice, Grace O'Hara, Jamie McCue, Molly O'Neill, Cailin Zadravec, and from Lunenburg, Leah Sowerbutts. The coaches are Ed Zadravec, Michael O'Hara, Dave DiGirolamo, and Chet Hallice.
