We’re throwing it WAY back for Somerville Local First’s third annual Prom this June, all the way to the 1950s! Join us on Friday, June 26 from 8 p.m.-midnight at Cuisine en Locale (156 Highland Ave.) for our ‘50s Prom: Back to the Future!
Come get down to ‘50s classics and modern-day tunes all night long at this hip event that’s also a fundraiser for Somerville Local First, a nonprofit that encourages a diverse economy that is local, sustainable and fair.
Don your best ‘50s threads because we’ll be giving out killer prizes to the most creative costume and crowning the winners the Most Spirited Somervillians. Whether you’re more of a greaser or a poodle-skirt-wearing sock hopper, come dressed to impress because the competition is going to be fierce!
Remember those heinous prom pictures you promptly hid in your closet? Well, we’ve got a chance for you to snap some better shots. Step into our amazing photo booth complete with ‘50s-themed props to capture all your favorite memories from Back to the Future.
Cuisine en Locale will be cooking up some delicious local food for purchase and is creating an inexpensive Somerville Local First-themed cocktail. With this ticket you’ll get a night you’ll never forget!
