Alderman: Roche Bros. Interested in Davis Square Store

Roche Bros., the regional grocery-store chain, is interested in opening a store at 240 Elm St. in Somerville’s Davis Square, according to a Facebook post by Alderman At Large John “Jack” Connolly (below).

A tentative meeting at the site, the ground level of the Social Security Building, has been scheduled for 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10, according to Connolly.

Roche Bros. has 18 locations in Massachusetts.
