Assembly Row Restaurant To Open Second Location

A second location is planned just two years after the original debuted at Assembly Row.

SOMERVILLE, MA – A second location of an Assembly Row restaurant is being planned just two years after the original's debut. According to Boston Restaurant Talk, a second Southern Kin Cookhouse is coming, but the when and where it will open is still under wraps.

The move is among many changes being made by parent company Boston Nightlife Ventures, the site reported. The company recently closed The Tap Trailhouse in Boston and operates Certified Meatball Co., Griddler's Burgers & Dogs and Wink & Nod. It is currently developing Southeast Asian restaurant Akinto and Italian eatery Little Owl Tavern.

Southern Kin Cookhouse serves southern-style comfort and first opened at Assembly Row in 2016.
