Bakery With Somerville Origins Finds Home In Medford

SOMERVILLE, MA — A Somerville resident's bakery business will soon have a home next door in Medford. Carla Barile, who has been running END Bakery out of her residence on Powder House Boulevard, will open a store in West Medford, according to Wicked Local.

The shop will serve cupcakes, cakes, pecan bars, apple crostatas and more. Barile will continue to operate the business out of her home and is eyeing a September opening for her Medford store, Wicked Local reported.

END Bakery will be located at 17 Playstead Rd. It will initially be open seven days a week, though the hours could be reduced.
