Bakery Taking Over Union Square Pizza Spot
An area pop-up is opening its first brick-and-mortar location on Somerville Avenue.
SOMERVILLE, MA – An area pop-up bakery is opening its first brick-and-mortar location in Somerville. Vinal Bakery will move into the former Pizza Palace space in Union Square, the bakery announced Monday.
Vinal Bakery's menu includes English muffins, banana bread, scones, breakfast shortcakes, tarts and more, according to Boston Restaurant Talk, which first reported the news. The business is aiming to open in the spring of 2019.
Vinal Bakery will be located at 222 Somerville Ave.
