Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Verani Realty’s Somerville Agents Honor Local Veterans at Annual Parade
Parade marked the celebration of the 175th Anniversary of the City of Somerville
Somerville, MA – Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Verani Realty’s (Verani) Somerville office kicked off their Memorial Day celebrations early by attending the annual Somerville Veterans’ Memorial Parade on Sunday, May 21.
The Somerville Veterans' Memorial Parade honors the service and sacrifice of all who have served our country, and this year's parade also marked the celebration of the 175th Anniversary of the City of Somerville. The parade's theme, “Honoring Our Past...Engaging Our Future," recognized the service of Somerville's citizens. The parade route began at City Hall, continued through Davis Square and past Verani’s Somerville office, and ended at the fire station.
Somerville agents greeted local veterans with flags, and met Mayor Joseph A. Curtatone. They also distributed information about the Verani for Veterans program, which assists veterans in obtaining their New Hampshire, Massachusetts, or Maine real estate license. Veterans are eligible to receive a full scholarship to Verani University, a real estate “boot camp,” as well as pre-license course reimbursement, mentorship and coaching.
