Beyond the Basics at RiverDog is taught by Melissa McCue-McGrath, and starts at 8pm on Wednesday nights. Classes run for 6 weeks, and are great for dogs who have already taken an introductory class like Puppy Kindergarten or Basic Manners and want to expand their current skill repertoire. Some of the curriculum includes working with distractions, practicing behaviors in different contexts, elements from the Canine Good Citizen test such as greeting people without jumping, passing dogs without lunging, recall past food bowls, and down/stays at a distance. A great class for both dog and handler to advance the skills you already know!
