Big Papi's Ugly Christmas Sweater Will Land You On the Naughty List

But it's for a good cause.

'Tis the season for ugly sweaters, and David Ortiz is tossing his (Santa) hat into the ring.

The newly retired Red Sox legend released his own line of Christmas sweaters this year, and they're about as brash as you'd expect from Big Papi.

The shirts read, "This is our (expletive) Christmas," a nod to Papi's words of inspiration after the Boston Marathon bombings. Underneath is a cartoon of the big guy himself, complete with Santa hat, beard and shades.

Perhaps its apropos that Ortiz is co-opting Santa's look for the sweater, as all of the proceeds from their sales will go toward bringing holiday joy to the kids of the David Ortiz Children's Fund. Ortiz's organization helps supply life-saving surgery to children in New England and the Dominican Republic who were born with congenital heart disease.

The sweaters come in blue, green and dark green, and are on sale until Dec. 12.
