Participants will explore the rigorous physicality and spontaneous play required to bring the iconic stock characters—Arlecchino, Capitano, Pantalone, Dottore, and others — to life. Through mask work, ensemble devising, and the study of lazzi (classic comedic business), you’ll learn how to activate these characters in your own body and build authentic (and sometimes surprising) connections to the audience.
