Betty Corrello (she/her) is an author of contemporary romances, including Summertime Punchline and 32 Days in May, and a comedian. Despite her hardened exterior, she is biologically 95% marshmallow. Betty blames this on the abundance of water in her astrological chart. Her greatest passion is writing stories where opposites attract, but love is chosen. In addition to many other troubling things, Betty is a proud Philadelphian.

For the first time ever, Grammy Award-winning bassist Oteil Burbridge takes the stage with Vermont-based groove trio LaMP for a night of jam-rooted, improvisational rock — a one-night-only pairing you won't see anywhere else, presented by Fiddlehead Brewing Company. Burbridge is a founding member of Dead &amp; Company and a celebrated veteran of the Allman Brothers Band and Aquarium Rescue Unit; LaMP (Russ Lawton, Scott Metzger, Ray Paczkowski) is known for their work with Trey Anastasio Band and Joe Russo's Almost Dead.
Come experience the kind of spontaneous, in-the-moment playing these musicians are known for, live at Somerville Theatre on Friday, October 9, 2026, closing out the four-city tour.
Proceeds support Make-A-Wish, helping grant wishes for children facing critical illness across the Northeast.

21st Annual <a href="https://honkfest.org/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">HONK! Festival of Activist Street
Bands</a>; this year's on-site U.S. bands total 35, plus
on-site video livestream participation from several international bands;
w/plenty of ways for audience participation.

The HONK! Festival was catapulted
into existence right here in the Somerville-area in 2006, initially with 3
local bands, 8 from across the U.S., and 1 travelling in from Vancouver. And
yes, HONK! has grown. There are now over 20 independent HONK!s (plus related
activist street band gatherings) operating around the world. With 35 U.S. bands
participating on-site specifically in Somerville/Cambridge this October. Let's
just say, there is a reason for that phenomenon! With the local Festival still
under the ongoing coordination of HONK!'s founding band, the Good Trouble Brass
Band (fka Second Line Social Aid &amp; Pleasure Society Brass Band).<o:p></o:p>

Computer hard drives will be destroyed during the recycling process, but can be removed on-site at the event for an additional charge. Cash payment is preferred, but checks will be an acceptable form of payments over $30.
