Davis Square Opening: Collaborative Workspace Coming In 2018

SOMERVILLE, MA – Workspace developer Spaces has selected Somerville for its second Massachusetts location, the company announced this week. The Amsterdam-born company will open at 240 Elm St. in Davis Square on Jan. 8, 2018, sharing the building with medical marijuana dispensary Sage Naturals.

Spaces' 15,450-square-foot site in Somerville will feature over 100 dedicated desks, two meeting rooms, a 2,100-square-foot business club and regular networking and client appreciation events, including TEDx Talks. The company's first Bay State location opened on Newbury Street in Boston earlier this year.

Davis Square offers Spaces an ideal location minutes away from the Red Line and close to universities and research facilities in Cambridge and Boston, the company said. Memberships in the business club start at $259 a month, with dedicated desks and meeting and office space available.
