Decade-Old Somerville Italian Restaurant Closes

SOMERVILLE, MA – An Italian restaurant has shut down after more than a decade in Ball Square. In a Facebook post last week, co-owner Anna Buonopane announced the Jan. 11 closure "with a heavy heart."

According to Boston Restaurant Talk, which first reported the news, the post implied that a restaurant and bar will be moving into the space soon.

Pescatore was located at 158 Boston Ave. for 13 years.
