Decades-Old Somerville Deli Shuts Down

SOMERVILLE, MA — A longtime deli in Somerville's Ball Square neighborhood has closed. According to social media posts, Victor's Deli shut down sometime last week. Boston Restaurant Talk confirmed the closure and reported that neighboring restaurant Ball Square Cafe & Breakfast may be expanding into the space.

Victor's Deli first opened in 1982. The spot served a range of deli staples, including subs, pasta, pizza and calzones.

Victor's was located at 710 Broadway.
