Early Childhood Program Hosting Community Baby Shower

SOMERVILLE, MA — Riverside Early Head Start announced that it will be hosting a community baby shower on Wednesday, Jan. 15 at its headquarters on 474 Broadway.

The free event aims to help expecting mothers to receive helpful resources, learn new parenting skills, and celebrate their upcoming motherhood with each other.

Early Head Start is a home-visiting program that works with young parents of Somerville, Medford, and Cambridge to provide resources that maximize children’s early development.
The shower begins at 4 p.m. and welcomes expecting mothers and ones with infants three months and younger. Community members can register by calling Riverside at 781-516-2922 or texting “SHOWER” to the same number.
