The Massachusetts Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure (Komen MA) is proud to present the 19th Annual Komen MA Race for the Cure on October 30, 2011 at Joe Moakley Park in South Boston. The race will begin at 10:00 a.m.
Join us as we celebrate the Commonwealth's breast cancer survivors, support those currently fighting breast cancer, and remember those we have lost.
Our fitness walk/run is truly a memorable day. Our event is a nonprofit fundraising event dedicated to raising dollars to support local breast health programs that cover education, prevention, screening, and treatment while also funding the most promising research on the national level. Last year, we had over 5,500 participants walk or run with us! Join us in making an impact in our own communities!
The first Massachusetts Race for the Cure was held in 1993. Since 2003, over 30,000 men, women, and children have participated in the Affiliate]s 5K fitness run/walk event.
