This is also our largest fundraiser of the year, so we encourage hikers to set a fundraising goal. If you are unable to hike, please consider supporting those who are. Our goal is to raise $20,000 which will allow us to continue engaging urban youth through the environment.

Eagle Eye Institute is a non-profit organization based in Somerville, MA that uses the power of nature to transform urban youth. We partner with youth organizations throughout Somerville, Cambridge, Medford and Boston for Learn about Forest Programs all summer long. The youth and their leaders travel outside of the city to meet Eagle Eye Champions and Natural Resource Professionals at a natural site. There, they share a day of hands-on learning about nature and the environment. Once back in the city, we pair up for environmental stewardship closer to home as well. These experiences expand the view of the youth themselves, their community and their world. Since our inception in 1991, we have reached more then 10,000 young people and look forward to reaching thousands more with the support of our community.
