Somerville Garden Club member Lori Fitz will share her personal experiences designing several family gardens and public sites maintained by the SGC. She will address issues of personal taste, site requirements, and creating a high or low maintenance garden. Lori will include photographs in her talk to inspire any gardener as they approach improvements for their property.
The Somerville Garden Club meets the second Wednesday of every month, 167 Holland St., Somerville, 7-9 pm. Parking is available and the building is a ten-minute walk from the Davis Square MBTA stop. Each meeting includes a plant question and answer segment, a specialty lecture or demonstration, and a raffle of donated plants and garden items.
