Rowing is the ultimate team sport. If the members of a crew do not work together, the boat they row in has little chance of going fast.
This lesson is applicable on the water and throughout life. Teamwork is an important part of any career or relationship. If you want your employees to really learn the message of teamwork, this is a great way to do it as well as enjoying the outdoors on an under used resource (Mystic and Malden Rivers), and get some exercise, all at the same time!
Each year Gentle Giant Rowing hosts a Community Challenge where you come to us with a team of 8 - 10 people and we teach you to row over 4 weeks. At the end of the 4 weeks, we bring all the teams together and it's RACE TIME!
