Celebrating over 90 years of excellence in fashion education, The School of Fashion Design is the only educational institution in New England dedicated exclusively to the study of fashion design. SFD provides students with a solid foundation in apparel design and construction, and the skills required for a successful career in fashion. Our technical Certificate program is taught by experts in the field of fashion design. Students may take courses toward the Certificate or on a class-by-class basis to fill professional education interests. For creatives and textile arts enthusiasts, SFD offers workshops in various fiber arts such as weaving, lace making, embroidery, millinery, upcycling, and more. As an SFD student, you will join a diverse community of emerging designers. Our studios are filled with recent high school graduates, students from nearby colleges enriching their education with fashion, and working professionals embarking on a new career path. We love to feature premium sporting events, whether it be holding an event on Superbowl Sunday or as you guessed it, opening weekend of the World Cup! We understand many fans will be staying in the Crowne Plaza venturing down to Gillette and can't wait to welcome fans from all around the world looking to buy some football/soccer cardboard of their favorite players.
For this one time event, we will be in Salon A with some of the best soccer vendors in all of New England with about 250 ft. of footie goodness.
The cost to enter is $5 at the door, kids 12 and under are free. Those 15 and under MUST be accompanied by a parent or of-age chaperone. The fun begins at 9:00 AM at the Crowne Plaza Woburn hotel in Salon A and will end at 3 PM. Door prizes will all be soccer themed, a Lamine Yamal Topps Stadium Club Refractor will be the grand prize with a Topps Mega Box in the 11:00 hour. Door prizes will be called at 11 AM and 1 PM.
The best parking is in the back of the hotel (parallel to I-95) to enter the ballroom from the rear entrance BUT we are in Salon A towards the front so if there are spots there it might be good to also consider the front parking door parking area. Contact us if you have any questions. Tickets can be purchased in advance here through OnTreasure to "skip the line". Cash/credit cards/Venmo also accepted at the door.
