"Medieval Gardens"

The Oct. meeting of the Somerville Garden Club wll feature a talk by Priscille Baumann, Ph.D. from Boston University. She is particularly interested in medieval French art, architecture, and cultural history, and her extensive archives of slides, photographed on site, offer unique details unavailable elsewhere. Ms. Baumann has taught at Tufts University, Radcliffe Seminars, and the Art Institute of Boston at Lesley College.

Somerville Garden Club meetings are free and open to all, and the public is encouraged to attend. Meetings begin with announcements, followed by a roundtable of plant questions, a lecture or demonstration, and conclude with a raffle of donated plants and garden items.
