The December meeting of the Somerville Garden Club features a talk by Brian Hutchins, Manager of Hutchins Farm in Concord, Mass. Brian will give an overview of the farm's operations and organic growing practices, and go through a condensed version of a season's activities. He will cover business planning, working the land, crop care, pest control, harvesting and marketing.
The Somerville Garden Club meets the second Wednesday of every month; meetings are free and the public is invited to attend. Parking is available and the building is a ten-minute walk from the Davis Square MBTA stop.
