SOMERVILLE, MA — The following reports were received by Somerville Police between Tuesday, March 17 and Monday, March 23.
Friday, March 20
7:24 p.m. — Police responded to a report of a breaking and entering at a residence on Beacon Terrace. Officers spoke with the resident upon arrival and she told them she went to her bedroom after hearing a noise and saw a man trying to get in through the window. He fled upon being seen.

Saturday, March 21
11:39 a.m. — Police responded to a report of a fight on Elm Street. Police spoke with a person who said he got into an altercation with a man on a bike. The person was reportedly tackled to the ground by the man who also knocked down a nearby woman.

12:48 p.m. — Police responded to a report of a breaking and entering at a residence on College Avenue. Two residents said their apartment units were broken into. Nothing was reported missing.
Other crimes that were logged by police throughout that week include six car break-ins, one motor vehicle theft, one bicycle theft, one package theft, and two cases of vandalism.
