SFD provides students with a solid foundation in apparel design and construction, and the skills required for a successful career in fashion. Our technical Certificate program is taught by experts in the field of fashion design. Students may take courses toward the Certificate or on a class-by-class basis to fill professional education interests. Movement, Rhythm + Voice is a guided, holistic experience that invites the release of tension, reconnection to the body, and the awakening of joyful expression through breath, rhythm, sound, and symbolic movements. Rooted in seasonal cycles, the practice welcomes all emotions and celebrates the vitality of being alive. Repetition and rhythm support a deep, embodied experience, while live drumming grounds the journey and connects the group to a shared heartbeat. Inspired by the intercultural approaches of Katherine Dunham and Herns Duplan, the session blends accessibility, intention, and play. No prior experience is needed.
