SCATV is teaming up with the Somerville Arts Council to gather stories about Davis Square, then and now. What did this community used to be like? How does that compare with today, and what do you see in the future? These stories will be collected outside the M.U.S.C.R.A.T. Storytelling Bus.

Don’t want to share but want to enjoy some stories that have already been told? Inside the bus there will be loping videos of stories collected in the Fall of 2014 about Union Square, then and now. Come on in, take a seat and hear what your neighbors have to say! There will be free popcorn!

Join us for the fun at ArtBeat in Davis Square (parked near CVS) from Noon-4:00 p.m. to board the M.U.S.C.R.A.T Bus and take part in phase one of what will be an ongoing, citywide oral history project. Stories will be shared with the public via videos that will air on SCATV and will be available as short videos on SCATV and SAC websites.
