Join us for the GivingTuesday Somerville Event at the Arts at the Armory!

What is this party you’ve heard so much about?

On Tuesday, December 1st, 14 non-profit organizations in Somerville invite you to Arts at the Armory to DANCE, EAT, DRINK, and PLAY GAMES!

Join emcees Joe Grafton and KyAnn Anderson. Listen to the tunes of the Somerville Ukulele Club and DJ Hank Davidson. Delight in the treats of Jules Catering and Whole Foods Market. Learn about 14 nonprofits and how you can become involved. It’s really a win-win-win-win (we could keep going, but you get the idea!)

We’ll have lots of fun games, delicious food, a cash bar, an amazing band and DJ, lots of dancing, and of course information about the 14 organizations participating in #GivingTuesdaySomerville.

What is GivingTuesdaySomerville?

GivingTuesday is the first Tuesday in December (this year that’s December 1!), and it is an annual global day of giving that helps to raise funds and awareness for important causes everywhere. In Somerville, 14 nonprofit organizations are joining forces to collaborate on a second-annual joint fundraising effort as part of the international GivingTuesday program.

GivingTuesday is more than just a single-day event. Leading up to December 1, each partner organization will be featured for a week by all partners. The goal is to raise both awareness and funds in a truly collaborative effort.

We want to raise $50,000 for the participating nonprofit community of Somerville. Funds are shared equally among participants. Help us get there!
