Greater Somerville - Somerville Zoning Code Overhaul

Join host KyAnn Anderson as she speaks with George Proakis, the Director of Planning at the City of Somerville, about the zoning code overhaul draft that was recently submitted to the Board of Alderman for review, approval, and opened for public comment. While this document may seem overwhelming in size to many, the community needs to realize the importance of the details that lie within, as well as voice their concerns to city hall, while there is still an opportunity to do so. How tall will those ten story buildings be, will the home renovations process be easier, affordable housing - how much can we expect, bicycle parking ratios versus the automobile and more, will be answered on this episode. Make sure you know the facts, your voice is heard and together, we make this the strongest code it can be for Somerville by watching this episode.
