Haunted Dinner Theatre returns to Salem Haunted Happenings

New show 'Shipwrecked!' announced for Fall

The Haunted Dinner Theatre has announced its plan to return to Salem’s Haunted Happenings Festival this fall with a new show titled “Shipwrecked!” The Massachusetts-based company has been brining spooky stories to the stage for five years. This year’s family-friendly spooky tale tells of the fate of the pirate ship The Dolphin.

In the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, daring bands of pirate ships sailed in search of other men’s gold off the coast of New England. A single piece of driftwood cast about on a sea churned by recent storms is the last remnants of one such ship: the Dolphin. With all hands lost, a group of infamous pirate captains come together to solve the mystery of what really happened to the doomed vessel and the bountiful treasure nestled in her holds. Swash your buckles and join legendary Captains known for sailing the waters from New England to the south seas - Anne Bonny, Ned Lowe, Calico Jack Rackham and more – as they look to you to decide who is a treacherous dog that should pay the ultimate price.

The $59.95 ticket include a full all-you-can-eat buffet dinner and shows will play Fridays and Saturdays at the Hawthorne Hotel predominantly and Finz Seafood on October 30 and the only matinee show on October 31. Tickets can be purchased by calling 617-307-4998 or by visiting www.zerve.com/ComedyTheatr/Haunted
