Want to play Pac-Man on Somerville streets? The popular 1980s video game has come to a street near you thanks to Google Maps. As part of its April Fool’s Day fun, Google Maps will allow you to zoom into any city and play a hometown version of the famous arcade game.

Gobble your way past The Somerville Theatre, Diesel Cafe, Union Square, and Comicazi.

Just click on the little Pac-Man icon in the lower left corner of your screen. If your hometown is too boring (or if you just want a change of scenery), pick an exotic vacation destination. Paris, perhaps. London or Madrid. You’ll hear the familiar music and sound effects, and the colored ghosts will chase you.
