Live Music Club Looking At Union Square Space

A planned venue called The Jungle seems to have shifted its focus from Davis to Union Square.

SOMERVILLE, MA – A planned live music venue in Somerville has reportedly shifted its focus from Davis Square to Union Square. According to Boston Restaurant Talk, The Jungle has been eyeing space at 66 Union Square Plaza and applied for liquor and food licenses in April.

The business is also seeking an "entertainment by devices, performers and patrons" license, the site reported.

News about The Jungle coming to Somerville was first reported last summer. A Craigslist post from the company sought a manager for the upcoming club, which at the time was to be located in the Davis Square area and had a possible fall 2017 opening date.
