Local Sci-Fi / Experimental Short Film Night
On Thursday nights in August, Cinema Somerville is collaborating with Smart Space and Launch Over to present an Outdoor Local Shorts night.
Thursday, August 13th: Local Sci-Fi / Experimental Shorts night - The event will starts at 7:30pm with a BYOPicnic and 8:30pm (dusk) screening.
On Thursday nights in August, Cinema Somerville is collaborating with Smart Space and Launch Over to present an Outdoor Local Short Film Series at the Somerville Community Growing Center (22 Vinal Ave).
The committee has curated a great selection of local sci-fi/experimental shorts (the full lineup is here) and the night will end with a brief Q & A with the filmmakers (tentative). The suggested viewing age is 18 & above.
Seating is limited to 150; moviegoers are encouraged to bring their own portable seats, blankets, snacks and lawn chairs. **Rain location is at SCATV (90 Union Square).
