Giancarlo Sessa, owner of Sessa’s Cold Cuts and Italian Specialties in Somerville’s Davis Square for the past 35 years, has sold his business, according to a recent Facebook post (below).
Sessa sold the business to Giovanni Maione, whose family has owned the Italian restaurant La Campania in Waltham for 20 years, according to Eater Boston. Maione is naming the store Pepe Bocca and will add “bread baked in-house, espresso, and more prepared options, including Neapolitan street foods,” according to Eater Boston.
