Longtime Somerville Pizza Place Seemingly Closed

The Davis Square restaurant appears to have quietly closed sometime last week.

SOMERVILLE, MA – A longtime Somerville pizza place appears to have quietly closed, according to Eater, citing a post on the Davis Square neighborhood group. A handwritten "closed" sign appeared on the front of Cristo's Pizzeria sometime last week, and the drinks fridge had been removed, according to the post.

It is not known when exactly the restaurant closed. Cristo's first opened at 233 Elm St. in the 1980s, and many posters in the Davis Square group shared memories of the restaurant.

The future of the space is unknown at this time.
