'The Magic Fire': Featured Somerville Event
This week's featured local calendar event comes to you courtesy of Unity Somerville.
SOMERVILLE, MA – This week's featured local calendar event comes to you courtesy of Unity Somerville, which is hosting performances of "The Magic Fire" starting Friday, Nov. 10. The play, by Argentinean-American writer Lillian Groag, invites you into the home of an immigrant family in 1950s Buenos Aires. Groag explores the connections among memory, history and art through the eyes of a child.
Night performances will be held Nov. 10, 11, 16 and 17 at 7:30 p.m. and matinee shows will take place Sunday, Nov. 12 and Saturday, Nov. 18 at 3 p.m. Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for students and seniors.
