Man Allegedly Exposes Himself to Mother, Daughter on Gilman Street

A 27-year-old Somerville man allegedly exposed himself early Sunday morning to a mother and her daughter on Gilman Street.

Police were called to the scene at about 12:50 a.m. Sunday.

There, the mother and daughter said they were in their front yard when the man exposed himself to them. They said they then went in their house and called 911. At that time, the man pulled down his cargo shorts and began gyrating his hips, they said.

Police found the alleged suspect, Tiago DeSouza, of 34 Highland Ave., near the residence. Police said DeSouza was “extremely intoxicated” and “unsteady on his feet.”

Police arrested DeSouza at the scene and charged him with open and gross lewdness.
