MA's Best Apple Pie Is In Somerville, Food Site Says

SOMERVILLE, MA – Somerville is a dream for any foodie venturing beyond Boston, from the amalgam of cultural cuisines to the ever-expanding list of gastropubs and brewhouses. But according to food news site The Daily Meal, the 'ville's most delectable export is a time-honored staple: apple pie. On its list of "bests" from across the nation, The Daily Meal rated Somerville's Petsi Pies the best apple pie in Massachusetts.

The Daily Meal on Friday released their 2018 list of the best foods and drinks in every state — and no rock (or burger) was left unturned during their search for the best grub. Everything from the best soup joints and doughnut shops to local breweries and Mexican food hot spots were listed.

Best Beer: Trillium in Boston

Best Burger: Craigie on Main in Cambridge

Best Irish Pub: Plough and Stars in Cambridge

Best Italian Restaurant: Scampo in Boston
