Most Somerville Patriots' Day Events Canceled
Many activities, with the exception of one, have been canceled due to forecasted rain and muddy conditions.

SOMERVILLE, MA – Most of Somerville's Patriots' Day celebrations have been canceled due to forecasts of extended rain and muddy conditions both before and during planned events, the city announced Friday. Activities were scheduled for Monday, April 16.
One event will move forward. Light refreshments donated by the Foss Park Dunkin' Donuts, Stop & Shop and Redbones will be offered between 11 and 11:30 a.m. at Foss Park. It is the city's hope that the reenactment of Paul Revere's ride will take place, but weather conditions could lead to a last-minute cancellation.
Originally scheduled events included games and live music.
