Multiple Assaults: Somerville Crime Log

SOMERVILLE, MA — The following reports were received by Somerville Police on Thursday, June 25 and Tuesday, June 30.

Thursday, June 25

12:41 p.m. — Police responded to a report of an assault on Elm Street. A person told officers he was walking down the street when an unknown man pushed him.

9:11 p.m. — Police responded to a report of an assault at a business in Assembly Row. According to police, a group of juveniles entered the store and allegedly attempted to shoplift. As they were leaving, one of the juveniles slapped an employee.

10:24 p.m. — Police responded to a report of a past breaking and entering at a residence on Flint Street. A resident told officers she saw the silhouette of a man looking at her and her son before heading toward the basement. Nothing was reported missing.

Tuesday, June 30

9:31 a.m. — Police responded to a report of an assault in the area of Washington Street and Boston Street. A bicyclist told officers he was riding on Franklin Street when a man in a vehicle pulled alongside him, displayed a knife, and threatened to kill him.
