Mystic Avenue Lane Closures This Weekend

SOMERVILLE, MA – Overnight construction in Somerville at the intersection of Mystic Avenue (Rt. 38) and Temple Street will require temporary lane closures, according to MassDOT. Work will happen from approximately 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

During this time, traffic on Mystic Avenue will be reduced to a single lane in each direction. Construction may also require the short-term closure of Temple Street and Temple Road, and traffic will be detoured to adjacent streets.

Work will include pavement milling and roadway resurfacing. Signs, traffic control devices, temporary detour signs, and police details will be used to guide drivers through the work zone.
