New Cocktail Bar Opens In Somerville

SOMERVILLE, MA — A new cocktail bar is now open in the former Juice Union space in Union Square. Barra, a "cousin" of popular Peruvian restaurant Celeste, was announced last summer. Fans of Celeste won't have to go far – Barra is located two doors down.

The bar recently opened, Boston.com reported. It has seating for 12, as well as six seats apiece along the bar and counter. The menu includes dishes influenced by Mexican street food, craft beers, natural wines and Latin American spirits and cocktails.
