New Paper Store Opening Near Somerville in May

Any residents panicking about a looming paper shortage may have slightly less reason to worry, come May.

On Wednesday, a statement from the Paper Store - a family-owned retail chain based out of Acton - announced that the company plans to open a brand new Paper Store at Fellsway Plaza in Medford, not far from Somerville, in May.

Curiously, the Paper Store’s press release emphasizes its selection of jewelry, fashion, and gifts, while downplaying its inventory of straight-ahead paper products. This scans as a mistake, considering this totally rad Yoda stationary on their website. But the chain has existed for more than 50 years, so presumably they know what they’re doing.
