Jacqueline Marie Allen (Berry-Mitrano), 49, passed away peacefully on Nov. 3, 2014, surrounded by her loving family and close friends.
Jacqueline was born on Oct. 12, 1965 in Somerville and went to Somerville High School. She got married and moved to Winthrop and had two beautiful children, Michael and Melissa Mitrano.

Jacqueline loved life and her family meant the world to her. Her passions included: music from the 70s (Elton John), dragonflies, purple glass, the ocean, art (Monet), reading (Stephen King), cooking and being a Nana to her granddaughter Sophia, who was her little sunshine. Jacqueline had a heart of gold, she loved to lend a helping hand to anyone and everyone. She was beautiful inside and out, a free spirit who was strong willed and resilient and excelled at everything she did.
She worked at U.S. Air, worked many years as a certified auto appraiser and inspector and later became a sues chef, doing something she loved, cooking. In April of 2014, she married Richard Allen, whom she loved dearly - they should have had a long life together.

She is survived by her mother Muriel White, her brother Michael Berry, her children Michael Mitrano and Melissa Mitrano, her granddaughter Sophia Delgado and her husband Richard Allen, as well as extended family and friends. Jacqueline will be missed by all who knew her, especially those who loved her unconditionally. If love could have saved her, she would have lived forever.
