James F. Tatosky, of Somerville, died Saturday, July 19, 2014. Retired Captain, Somerville Police Department.

Beloved husband of the late Ruth (McDonald) Tatosky. Loving father of James W. and his wife Catherine E. of Billerica, Nancy A. Covert and her husband Lance of Tewksbury, Laura R. Leitao and her husband Edward and Joseph R., all of Florida, Melinda J. Shamshak and her husband Nicholas of South Carolina and Tracy L. Sanderson and her husband Michael of Burlington. Brother of the late John and Robert Tatosky. Grandfather of Renee, Michelle, Kristen, Lance, Keith, Danielle, Jordan, Nicholas, Alexandria, Jake and the late James Robert. Great grandfather of Joel, Bobby, Kaitlyn, Jimmy, Anabelle, Holly, Olivia, Ty and Marc. 

Funeral service in the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway, Powder House Square, Somerville, Thursday morning, July 24, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends invited. Calling hours Wednesday, July 23, 4-8 p.m. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
