Obituary: Leonard DiCicco Sr., Longtime Owner of Embassy Cleaners in Union Square

Mr. Leonard DiCicco Sr., of Somerville, died Thursday, Oct. 2, 2014.

He was the longtime owner of Embassy Cleaners in Union Square, Somerville.

Lenny leaves his wife, Frances (Owens) DiCicco; his children, Leonard N. DiCicco Jr. and his wife Suzanne of Lincoln, Robert M. DiCicco and his wife Michelle of New Hampshire and Daniel Landers and his wife Emily of Maine, and his grandchildren, Jenna, Bobby, Chelsie and Jonathan.

He was also the husband of the late Stasia DiCicco and brother of the late Nicholas DiCicco.

Family and friends will honor and remember Leonard’s life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main St. (Route 20), Waltham, on Tuesday, Oct. 7, from 4-8 p.m. and again at 10 a.m. on Wednesday morning in Saint Joseph’s Church, 142 Lincoln Road, Lincoln, where his funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Lincoln Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lenny’s name to the American Diabetes Assoc., 10 Speen St., 2nd Floor, Framingham, MA 01701.
