Obituary: Raymond MacDonald, Longtime Somerville Resident, Veteran
MacDonald died Wednesday, Dec. 10. He was 81.

Raymond F. MacDonald passed away at the Blaire House in Tewksbury on Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2014. He was 81.
Raymond was a longtime resident of Somerville. He was a U.S. Navy veteran during the Korean Conflict and worked for the MBTA as a train operator for 15 years.

Raymond was the beloved husband of Lulamae (Dalton) MacDonald. He was the loving father of Donna Barton and Karen MacDonald, both of Saugus, Lorene Ficociello and her husband Bennett of Peabody and Renee McDormand and her husband Keith of Manchester, New Hampshire. Raymond was the dear brother of Eleanor Andrews, Edna Ducey, and the late Edward and Joseph MacDonald. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main St., Malden, on Sunday, Dec. 14, from 2-6 p.m. A service will be held at 5:30 p.m. during the visitation. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be private.
