Robert F. Dold, a lifelong resident of Somerville, died at home on February 11, 2015; he was 70.
Born in Cambridge, he was the son of the late George E. Dold and Louise (Mezzacappa, McCalvey) Dold. He was lovingly raised by his grandmother the late Felicia Mezzacappa.
He was the beloved husband for 43 years to Linda (Campbell) Dold. He is further survived by his brother George Dold and his wife Diane; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held in the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) Somerville on Sunday, Feb. 15th from 1:00PM to 5:00PM. Relatives and friends invited to attend.
Funeral services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations in Robert’s name can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, www.woundedwarrior.org/donate.
